These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Car Rental website and services (“Services”) provided by Car Rental (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website or Services—including car rental, rental for business, and ride services—you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or Services.

1. Definitions

For purposes of these Terms:

  • “User” means any individual or entity accessing or using our website or Services.
  • “Rental Agreement” means the contract between you and us (or our authorized franchise or business partner) governing the rental of a vehicle.
  • “Vehicle” refers to any car, van, or other motor vehicle provided for rental.
  • “Authorized Driver” means the person(s) listed on your Rental Agreement who are permitted to drive the Vehicle.
  • “Services” includes:
    • Car Rental: Personal vehicle rental for leisure or travel.
    • Rental for Business: Vehicle rental services designed for corporate or commercial needs.
    • Ride Services: On-demand transportation services provided through our platform.
  • “Additional Services” means any optional extras, such as insurance products, GPS devices, or other add-ons available at the time of rental or booking.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or booking any Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy (which is incorporated herein by reference). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website or Services.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 21 years of age (or the minimum age required by local law) and possess a valid driver’s license to rent or use our Vehicles.
  • For Rental for Business Services, additional corporate requirements or documentation may be required.
  • For Ride Services, you must comply with any additional rules established by our partner service providers.

4. Booking and Rental Process

4.1. Reservations

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when making a reservation.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any reservation at our sole discretion.

4.2. Rental Agreement

  • Prior to taking possession of a Vehicle, you will be required to sign a Rental Agreement that details the specific terms related to your rental.
  • The Rental Agreement outlines the rental period, fees, insurance coverage, responsibilities, and return conditions.
  • For Rental for Business Services, the Rental Agreement may include additional terms and invoicing arrangements.

4.3. Modifications and Cancellations

  • You may modify or cancel your reservation subject to our cancellation policy, which may vary by Service type.
  • Changes in pickup/drop-off locations, dates, or times may result in adjustments to the applicable fees.
  • If you cancel a booking after a specified deadline, cancellation fees may apply.

5. Payment and Fees

  • Rental fees, taxes, surcharges, and any applicable deposits are outlined in your Reservation Confirmation and Rental Agreement.
  • Payment is due at the time of booking or at the beginning of your rental, as specified.
  • We accept major credit/debit cards and may accept other forms of payment at our discretion.
  • If any additional charges occur (e.g., late return fees, fuel surcharges, additional driver fees, tolls, or traffic violations), these will be added to your final invoice.

6. User Obligations and Conduct

6.1. General Obligations

  • You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
  • You are responsible for the Vehicle during your rental period, including proper use and timely return.
  • You agree to inspect the Vehicle upon receipt and notify us immediately of any pre-existing damage.

6.2. Prohibited Uses

  • You shall not use the Vehicle for any illegal activity, racing, towing, or for purposes other than those specified in your Rental Agreement.
  • You shall not allow any unauthorized person to drive the Vehicle.
  • In Ride Services, you agree to abide by any additional rules set forth by the driver or partner providing the ride.

7. Insurance and Liability

7.1. Insurance Options

  • Standard rental fees include basic insurance coverage. Additional insurance products (e.g., collision damage waiver, theft protection, supplemental liability insurance) are available for an extra fee.
  • If you choose not to purchase additional coverage, you acknowledge that you may be liable for all damage or loss of the Vehicle beyond the limits of the included coverage.

7.2. Liability

  • You are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the Vehicle during the rental period, except as provided by the purchased insurance.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless for any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Vehicle, including any fines, penalties, or legal fees incurred due to your breach of these Terms or applicable laws.
  • In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Return of the Vehicle

  • You must return the Vehicle on or before the expiration of the rental period, in the same condition as received (ordinary wear and tear excepted).
  • The Vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup, unless you have opted for a prepaid fuel option.
  • Any delay in returning the Vehicle may result in additional fees.
  • You are responsible for any missing parts, accessories, or damage not noted as existing at the time of pickup.

9. Modifications to the Terms

  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately upon posting.
  • Your continued use of our Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and software, is the property of Car Rental or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any of our content without our prior written permission.

11. Privacy

Your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described therein.

12. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
  • Assignment: We may assign these Terms or any rights or obligations hereunder without notice to you.
  • Notices: All notices or other communications provided by us under these Terms shall be in writing and sent via email or postal mail to the address provided in your account.

By using our website or booking any of our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
